A Minnesota rollover car crash in Douglas County near Alexandria seriously injured a driver, and a Hubbard County SUV rollover accident killed a Cass Lake, Minn., teenager and injured two passengers. Both car accidents happened in late October, 2013.
The Alexandria (Douglas County, Minn.) rollover accident involved a 19 year old Minnesota driver. His vehicle went off the road, rolled, and landed on the driver’s side. He was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital, in St. Cloud, MN, with serious injuries.
An 18 year old Cass Lake, MN, teenage driver was killed the same weekend in a Hubbard County, Minn., rollover crash. The driver was westbound on Highway 200 near Laporte – north of Walker and south of Bemidji, Minnesota. His SUV went off the right side of the road. The driver overcorrected, and his vehicle rolled. He was taken to the hospital in Bemidji, where he died.
Two passengers, a teen also from Cass Lake and a young man from Waubun, Minn., were hurt in the crash. The Minnesota State Patrol said that alcohol was detected on all three accident victims.
