We here at the Stowman Law Firm in Detroit Lakes have been heavily involved in the effort to bring the Detroit Mountain Recreation Area back after its 10 year closing. David Stowman is an avid skier. Jeff Stowman is a ski and snowboard instructor at DM. The Stowman Law Firm donated to the fundraising effort to bring DM back. Both of our administrative assistants volunteered as Mountain Ambassadors this season, and one worked for many years on the DM ski patrol.
DM proved to be a wonderful asset to the Detroit Lakes community this Winter, and will bring more great recreational opportunities this Summer with mountain biking and hiking.
